"Freddie" sold to the Hayward Gallery.

The Hayward Gallery on London's South Bank bought my sculpture "Freddie" earlier this year as part of the exhibition View Basket: Art Bought Online which closed on the 28th September. This was a high profile, prestigious exhibition which was a great pleasure for me to be a part of. There were works on display be Damien hirst and Tracy Emin which isn't bad company to be in. It was a shame to say goodbye to a sculpture which has been a part of my life for so long but I have been assured that the sculpture will be well looked after in the Hayward Gallery archives.

This is a fantastic development and one which will undoubtedly increase my profile as a Lego artist. Many thanks to Tom Morton, the curator of the exhibition for expressing such interest in my work.
